Hi, I'm Echo. I share my home with Finn, my 6 year old Shih Tzu, so I understand firsthand how much little dogs mean to their families. I know what it feels like to hand your dog over and hope they're in good hands. That’s why I started Inglewood Doggy Salon.
I wanted to create a space where dogs feel at ease. I believe in one-on-one service, a calm environment and that dogs deserve to be pampered without the chaos of a busy, crowded salon.
Inglewood Doggy Salon is the salon I would want for Finn. There's no rotating staff, no junior groomers, no surprises. Just me, your dog, and the shampoo bubbles.
A Career Built on Small Dogs
I've been grooming professionally for over 30 years. Before opening Inglewood Doggy Salon, I worked in large grooming salons — and taught other groomers as an instructor. I've trained hundreds of hours, mentored colleagues, and built up a depth of knowledge about small breed coats, temperaments, and care that I'm genuinely proud of.
I made the choice to open a small, focused salon because I believed small dogs deserved better than the rushed, impersonal experience that often comes with high-volume grooming. Ten years in, I'm more convinced of that than ever.
Nationally Certified — At the Highest Level
I hold multiple national certifications from the National Dog Groomers Association of America (NDGAA) — one of the most respected credentialing bodies in the profession:
- National Certified Master Groomer
- National Certified Terrier Groomer
- National Certified Sporting Groomer
- National Certified Non-Sporting Groomer
I also completed a one-year course in Animal Care. These credentials aren't just letters after a name — they represent thousands of hours of hands-on work, breed study, and professional commitment to doing this job properly.
