Do you groom all dog breeds?
We specalize in small and toy breeds, but take larger dogs on a case-by-case basis. If you're unsure whether we're the right fit for your dog, just give us a call and we’ll let you know.
How do I book an appointment?

How long does a grooming appointment take?
Appointment times vary depending on the service and your dog's breed, coat condition, and temperament. A full groom typically takes between 1.5 and 3 hours. We’ll give you a more accurate estimate when you book. We don’t rush — your dog's comfort comes first.
How often should my dog be groomed?
This depends on the breed and coat type. Most small breeds benefit from a full groom every 6 to 8 weeks, with a bath and tidy in between if needed. We’re happy to recommend a schedule tailored to your dog's specific coat and lifestyle.
My dog is nervous about grooming. Can you still help?
Absolutely — and this is exactly why we keep the salon small and quiet. Anxious dogs do much better without the noise and chaos of a high-volume salon, and your dog has my full, undivided attention throughout their appointment. With 30+ years of experience, we know how to read a nervous dog and work at their pace. If your dog has had difficult grooming experiences in the past, please let us know when you book so we can be extra prepared.
Who will groom my dog?
When you book with Inglewood Doggy Salon, your dog is groomed personally by Echo, a National Certified Master Groomer with over 30 years of professional experience.
What should I do to prepare my dog for their appointment?
A short walk before the appointment can help your dog arrive calm and relaxed. Please let us know about any health issues, sensitivities, or areas your dog doesn't like being touched. The more we know, the better we can take care of them.
Do you offer puppy grooming?
Yes! We love working with puppies. We offer gentle introductory grooms specifically designed to make their first salon experience a positive one. Getting puppies comfortable with grooming early sets them up for stress-free appointments for life. We find a low-pressure bath and tidy is a good introduction to the grooming experience.
I live outside of Inglewood — can I still come in?
Absolutely. While Inglewood Doggy Salon is proudly rooted in the neighbourhood, we welcome small dog owners from across Calgary and beyond. Many of our clients travel from other communities to bring their dogs to a groomer they truly trust.
